Horrible news for the New York Yankees and Yankees fans, because as the pennant race comes down to the wire, superstar Aaron Judge was hit by a pitch and will miss at least three weeks with a fractured wrist. This comes just days after it was announced star catcher Gary Sanchez will be out until late August. The Yankees will be without their top two young homegrown talents as they attempt to chase down the Red Sox for the AL East crown, the good news is their lineup is still stacked, and the Yankees likely have the best bullpen in baseball after trading for Zach Britton and improved their problematic rotation by acquiring JA Happ. The Yankees offense has taken two major hits, but this is why they pay Giancarlo Stanton the big bucks, it’s time for him to get hot and step up to earn that huge contract if the Yankees will truly contend in 2018.
