Aaron Donald Becomes The Highest Paid Player In NFL History

Aaron Donald is clearly the best defensive player in the NFL over recent seasons, and today the Los Angeles Rams rewarded as such, when he signed a six year $135 million dollar contract (with $87 million guaranteed) which makes him the highest paid defensive player in NFL history. Aaron Donald missed the entire preseason, so it may take him a few weeks to get into football shape, but this deal was a long time coming and is well deserved. The Rams defense is truly going to be scary this season, and with Aaron Donald paired with Ndamukong Suh on the interior, the Rams have the most terrifying combination of defensive tackles in recent memory. As a football fan, especially one who loves defensive line play, I’m glad Aaron Donald will be on the field to start the 2018 season.
