Last week Michael Bennett was indicted on a felony charge of causing injury to the elderly, after a 66-year-old female paraplegic security guard accused Bennett of injuring her as he ran into the field to see his brother Martellus after Super Bowl LI. The security guard claims that she tried to stop Bennett from running onto the field, when Bennett allegedly said “You all must know who I am, and I can own this m—–f—–. I’m going down to the field, whether you like it or not” then he is accused of shoving he woman causing her to suffer a sprained shoulder. Well Michael Bennett’s sister Ashley Bennett happened to be recording video on her phone as she and Michael rushed the field following Super Bowl LI, and the video shows no paraplegic female security guard trying to stop them, and nobody trying to stop them at all as they got onto the field following the game with ease. We here at SportSmasher.com had heard rumors that the allegations may be false, and it’s clear from this video that as Michael and Ashley Bennett initially rushed the field, nobody tried to stop them or even slow them down. Could the alleged assault have happened before or after this video was taken? Possibly? But the initial allegation said that the assault occurred as Michael Bennett rushed the field so this video definitely provides strong evidence of Michael Bennett’s innocence.
