Roger Lewis Jr: New York Giants Wide Receiver Arrested For Operating Vehicle While Impaired

NYDailyNews Giants wide receiver Roger Lewis was arrested for operating a vehicle while impaired over the weekend in Ohio, according to a report. TMZ has reported that the 23-year-old was pulled over early Sunday morning in Reynoldsburg for speeding and driving with tinted windows. Police then smelled marijuana and said Lewis showed signs of intoxication, per the report. Lewis, who attended high school in the nearby town of Pickering, also reportedly refused officers’ request to take a breathalyzer test. He was taken into custody around 5 a.m. and charged with OVI before being released on his own recognizance.

Lewis Jr was clearly behind Odell Beckham Jr, Brandon Marshall and Sterling Shepard on the depth chart, and now he will have to beat out players like Tavarres King, Dwayne Harris, Kevin Norwood and rookie Travis Rudolph for a roster spot with at least one strike against him.
