Golden State Warriors star Kevin Durant suffered a knee injury in the first quarter of last night’s loss to the Washington Wizards when teammate Zaza Pachulia fell into his leg, Durant was pulled from the game immediately, and sent for an MRI. Now the severity of the injury has been revealed, Durant has been diagnosed with a grade two MCL sprain and a bruised tibia, while there was no timetable given for Durant’s return the Warriors are not ruling out him playing again during the regulat season. While this is good news for the Warriors, who were rumored to be prepared for the worst, it also means Durant may not be 100% when he does return. This is a signal to the rest of the Western Conference that the Warriors are vulnerable, and the Warriors versus Cavs finals trilogy could be in jeopardy.
