Utah Jazz wing Rodney Hood was ejected from a game against the Washington Wizards after picking up his second technical foul, and as he exited the court, he slapped the cell phone out of a fan who was filming him. An unhappy Hood was storming off the court headed to the locker room, when a fan held up his cell phone in order to film Hood, and that’s when Hood slapped the phone out of the fan’s hand. Previously this season, DeMarcus Cousins, Kyrie Irving and Austin Rivers were disciplined with $25,000 fines for interacting with fans, so Hood can likely expect a fine in the same ballpark. If anyone can find this fan’s social media post, let the staff at SportSmasher.com know, the first person video from the fan’s perspective would be worth adding to this post. The good news for Hood is the Jazz won the game without him 107-104.
