This video is going viral and it comes to us from Alaska, where a family was driving down the road at midnight, when they were surprised to see the largest moose I’ve ever seen walking down the center median. The humongous moose is just strolling along, and while it may be a bit of an optical illusion based on perspective, the creature seems much taller than an SUV on the other side of the road. The moose is clearly huge based on the reactions of the people in the car filming the video, and the driver of the SUV on the other side of the road is amazed as well, they actually go into reverse in order to get a better look or another photo/video of the giant. Moose are the largest species of deer on earth, with males typically growing to six-feet-nine-inches at the shoulder, and weighing up to 1,550 pounds. The largest moose ever documented was in 1897 by the Yukon River in Canada, when a hunter killed a bull that was seven-feet-six-inches at the shoulder and weighed 1,808 pounds. Based on the video, this mammoth bull moose looks much larger and heavier than even the record breaker from over 100 years ago, giants still exist, and we hope that the location of this giant moose remains a mystery or the area will probably be flooded with hunters who want the ultimate trophy.
