Eagles Fans Are Brawling At Lincoln Financial Field Hours Before Kickoff

A massive fight that left at least one fan bloodied and created chaos in the parking lots of Lincoln Financial Field broke out on Sunday just hours before kickoff between the Eagles and Minnesota Vikings. It is not clear at this point what started the fight, which took place around 3 p.m. EST in Lot M by the Eagles’ home stadium. The brawl got so out of control that six horses were called to the scene in an attempt to control the crowd. The fight was between Eagles’ fans and the police officers, and it doesn’t appear any Vikings’ fans were involved. The incident, which required Philadelphia police officers and Pennsylvania State troopers to get under control, left at least one fan beaten and blooded. Despite the late kickoff, Eagles fans were seen arriving to the stadium to start tailgating as early as 7 a.m. EST on Sunday.

The NFC Championship Game between the Minnesota Vikings and Philadelphia Eagles does not kickoff until 640pm tonight, but as expected, the Eagles fans are already brawling in the parking lot at Lincoln Financial Field. We only have the above still photo of the brawl (so far, we are sure videos are coming), but apparently it involved Eagles fans versus police, and at least one Eagles fan who was shirtless and bloodied will miss the game because he will be behind bars after being arrested. Win or lose, the City Of Brotherly Love is going to be like The Purge tonight, and city officials prepared by greasing the light posts in Crisco so fans cannot climb them and cause damage to the city and/or themselves.
