Alex Rodriguez is one of the craftiest veterans in baseball, and during the New York Yankees 8-7 loss to the rival Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park last night, A-Rod showed off a unique and disturbing way to dry a bat. Despite the way that A-Rod’d strange bat drying technique looked, it worked, as the all-time great slugger went 2-4 with a home run and four RBIs. I would urge all of the aspiring baseball players out there who will copy this technique to proceed with caution, if you’re not careful, this technique could give you a major “rug burn” like situation that would be difficult to explain to your girlfriend.
