During UFC Fight Night 126 in Austin, Texas, the great Nate Diaz was shown in the audience, and in typical Nate Diaz “I don’t give an eff” fashion he immediately threw a blunt in his mouth. Nate Diaz and his brother Nick Diaz are is open with their love for and use of marijuana, and if you have followed the career of The Diaz Brothers, putting a blunt in his mouth is expected. Diaz is not in a marijuana friendly state like California or Colorado here, he’s in Texas where weed is still illegal, so it will be interesting to see if authorities looked into him for possession after he showed off his marijuana on live television. Nate Diaz is a fan favorite, and he is quietly holding out for a rubber match with Conor McGregor it another super fight with a big payday attached, as huge Nate Diaz fans we here at SportSmasher.com hope he gets it. The fact that Nate does not currently have a fight makes this okay with the UFC though, with no fight means no testing I believe, which means no fine or suspension.
