During the Sacramento Kings 105-99 home win over the New Orleans Pelicans, Pelicans rookie guard Buddy Hield was ejected, because he hit volatile Kings big man DeMarcus Cousins square in the nuts while fighting through a screen. The nut shot by Hield was clearly intentional, and was probably done so that the notoriously temperamental Cousins would overreact, and get himself tossed from the game as well. It did not work, the referee busted Hield for this cheap shot and ejected him from the game, and Cousins went on to torch the Pelicans for 28 points 14 rebounds and 7 assists in a Kings victory.
