The Milwaukee Bucks selected Donte DiVincenzo with the seventeenth overall pick of the 2018 NBA Draft last month, and based on a viral Instagram post in which he is showing off his current account balances, DiVencenzo could really use that first NBA paycheck. DiVincenzo has $3.71 across two accounts, but as it says on Instagram, that’s all about to change. Of course, if Donte DiVincenzo played his college ball at Kentucky, his accounts might be a little fatter while he waits on that first big league payday.
While we are on Donte DiVincenzo, I absolutely loved the pick and his fit in Milwaukee, when the Bucks were eliminated from the NBA playoffs by the Boston Celtics in seven games they greatly lacked two of his biggest on court attributes. Outside shooting and balls. DiVincenzo brings more than that to the table with his skill set, but against the Celtics when the Bucks needed a big three in a clutch moment out of a Greek Freak double team, nobody on the roster was capable of stepping up. DiVincenzo is not afraid to take, and make, that shot.
