WWE superstar Dean Ambrose has been sidelined since December with a triceps injury, but he was shown on the Jumbotron at the Stanley Cup Finals between the Las Vegas Knights and the Washington Capitals, and Ambrose looked like a heel. Ambrose was seen wearing all black, sporting a full beard and an earring, and looking more clean cut than his former “unstable” or “lunatic fringe” gimmick. It is rumored that Dean Ambrose is healthy and cleared to return to in ring action, which could happen as soon as Money In The Bank on June 17th, so it will be interesting to see if Ambrose returns as a babyface or as a heel. The WWE is short on top heels at the moment, part time WWE Champion Brock Lesnar is more of a tweener, he is booked as a heel but fans are in awe of him and respect him so much that they cheer him. Especially when Lesnar is booked against a forced face like Roman Reigns. When you look at the Monday Night Raw roster, the top guys: Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Braun Strowman, Finn Balor, Bobby Roode and Bobby Lashley working face. Only Krvin Owens, Sammy Zayn, Jinder Mahal and Elias are current top heels on the Raw brand so having Ambrose return as a heel would make a lot of sense. Also, you cannot have all three members of The Shield working face, Rollins is hot right now and the WWE will never turn Reigns. Ambrose, return as a heel, it will be amazing.
