The Philadelphia Eagles pass rush just got even scarier, as the defending Super Bowl champions traded a fifth round pick and speedy wide receiver Marcus Johnson to the Seattle Seahawks, and got back veteran defensive lineman Michael Bennett in return. Bennett swaps birds of prey, from the Seahawks to the Eagles, interestingly enough the other team who was interested in trading for him was the Falcons. The Seahawks had grown tired of the outspoken Bennett in their locker room, the Seahawks are currently transitioning from a veteran team to a young team, and Bennett needed to be moved to a veteran locker room. The Seahawks also get a speedy young receiver with potential in Marcus Johnson, who provides them with insurance, because Paul Richardson may leave as a free agent this offseason. The Eagles know what brought them to the dance, and what ultimately won them the Super Bowl, their pass rush which will now be potentially scarier next season and will generate more pressure with the addition of Bennett.
