Four star wide receiver recruit Jacob Copeland from Pensacola, California had a decision to make on National Signing Day, he had to pick where he would be attending college between three finalists – The University Of Alabama, The University Of Florida and The University Of Tennessee. Jacob Copeland chose to be a Florida Gator, and apparently his mother did not agree with his decision, because she immediately stood up and walked away. I guess Copeland did not inform his mother of his final decision beforehand, but it’s clear his mother expected a different decision, and disagreed with his final choice. Maybe Copeland’s mom wanted him to play for a National Championship under Nick Saban, or thought her son looked good in burnt orange, but Copeland went against her wishes and picked the sun and girls in Gainesville. Maybe Copeland’s mom knew that the Gators have not had decent quarterback play in a decade, and it’s tough for her son to showcase his skills and get that NFL money, if he’s playing with a quarterback who can’t get him the ball. Come on Jacob Copeland, don’t you know that mom is always right?
