The Minnesota Vikings were 61-yards away from the end zone with ten seconds left and no timeouts remaining, down by one point, and all hope seemed lost. That’s when Vikings quarterback Case Keenum tossed the ball towards the sideline and it was caught by Stephon Diggs, Saints safety Marcus Williams went for the big hit and whiffed, Diggs turned upfield to nothing but green and took the ball the rest of the way as time expired for a walkoff 61-yard-touchdown to send the Vikings up the NFC Championship Game. Incredible. When Diggs caught the pass, I was screaming “GET OUT OF BOUNDS!!!”, but he saw nobody but was between him and the end zone and he took it to the house for the win. We have never seen a finish like this in NFL history, we here at SportSmasher.com are still in shock, congratulations to the Minnesota Vikings.
Reminder, it’s not over until the clock reads Zero-Zero-Zero, until then keep playing hard.
