There has long been bad blood between Oakland Raiders wide receiver Michael Crabtree and Denver Broncos cornerback Aquib Talib, remember last season Talib snatched Crabtree’s chain on the field, and early in the first quarter today the two rivals got into a brawl that led to both being ejected. Crabtree blocked Talib, continued to block Talib on the sidelines after the play, leading to both players crashing to the ground and fighting. Multiple teammates got involved, and Crabtree got up without his helmet on, swinging at Talib and other Broncos players who were still wearing helmets. All players were separated, and it was announced that both Crabtree and Talib were both ejected, along with Raiders Pro Bowl right guard Gabe Jackson who allegedly shoved an official. After the fight and suspension, Talib had to walk through the Raiders sideline to get to the locker room, and he was escorted through safely by peace keeper Marshawn Lynch. Expect fines and suspensions to come down heavy on these players after the wildest NFL brawl of the season, and the game just started, these two teams might not be done.
UPDATE: Aquib Talib apparently snatched Michael Crabtree’s chain AGAIN which ignited this brawl. I guess we can call Talib Two Chainz from now on. Here’s the still image:
