Chicago Bears tight end Zach Miller seemed to haul in a over the shoulder touchdown reception against the Saints, on the play Miller suffered a serious injury to his left leg, and to add insult to injury officials overturned the touchdown in review. As it turns out, Miller suffered a dislocated knee on the play, and the damage was so severe that surgeons are working to save his leg. Vascular surgeons were forced to graft tissue from Miller’s other leg into the injured leg, in order to repair a damaged artery, and the lack of blood flow could end up costing Miller his leg in a worst case scenario. Our thoughts are with Miller and his family at this time, after seeing this injury just weeks after Gordon Hayward’s brutal leg injury, we can go without seeing another horrific leg injury for the rest of our lives. We have had our fill.
