In a video published to Instagram, the Carolina fan, whoCharlotte-Mecklenburg Police have identified as 26-year-old Kyle Adam Maraghy, turns to face the seated man, who is confronting him about blocking his view of the field, according to the post’s caption. Maraghy then strikes the 62-year-old man with a righthanded jab square to his face, prompting others to intervene. The offender throws three more punches, but the flailing hands and arms lessen the impact. The attacker soon forces his female friend away from her own quarrel as the two make their way toward the exit, leaving the man as blood drips down his face and stains his white T-shirt. Maraghy was arrested Friday evening by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police and charged with simple assault. He has a criminal history that includes charges for assault and battery charges and LSD possession, according to Deadspin.
Yesterday we posted a video of an angry Carolina Panthers fan sucker punching an older Philadelphia Eagles fan in the stands, just because the Eagles Fan asked him to sit down, as the Eagles beat the Panthers on Thursday Night Football. Well the video went viral, and social media tips which helped police catch this thug, who was identified as 26-year-old Kyle Adam Maraghy. Already sporting a rap sheet which includes assault charges and drug possession, Kyle Adam Maraghy was arrested on assault charges, thanks to the work of online detectives and tips from the internet. UPDATE: We are receiving feedback that the old man who got sucker punched was also a Panthers fan, not and Eagles fan, and then some feedback refuting that feedback and saying he was indeed an Eagles fan. Either way, it does not matter who he was rooting for, an old man got sucker punched and the authorities caught the guy with no moral compass who thought sucker punching an old man was acceptable behavior.
