The New York Yankees came back from a two games to none deficit to defeat the Cleveland Indians in the American League Divisional Series, and have advanced to the American League Championship Series, where they will take on the Houston Astros, for the right to play in the World Series. As a Yankees fan, I am not ashamed to admit that after a devastating game two loss to the Indians, I thought the Yankees were done and that there was no way they could bring back manager Joe Girardi for 2018. However, the Baby Bombers are gritty, they rallied back and won three straight against the Indians and saved Joe Girardi’s job in the process. Before moving on to Houston to face a very good Astros team and miniature MVP candidate Jose Altuve who I am deathly afraid of, the Yankees took to social media to roast the Indians, especially second baseman Jose Ramirez, who called closing out the series in Yankee Stadium a “cupcake”:
We like cupcakes. And champagne. https://t.co/P6ybRrBnkz
