DallasMorningNews Former Cowboys receiver Lucky Whitehead was discussed during Ezekiel Elliott’s appeal hearing Tuesday through Thursday in New York. Apparently, Whitehead had his own interactions with Tiffany Thompson, Elliott’s former girlfriend who has accused the Cowboys running back of abuse. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell found that Elliott injured Thompson on three separate incidents in July 2016 in Columbus, Ohio and suspended him six games. Elliott has denied the charges, is awaiting an NFL appeal ruling from arbitrator Harold Henderson and has also filed a petition to vacate the pending arbitration and filed a motion for a temporary restrainingorder in federal court in the Eastern District of Texas. Elliott was under NFL investigation after Thompson’s claims all of his rookie season last year, but it seems Whitehead also interacted with Thompson. During a November 30 interview with Kia Roberts, the NFL’s director of investigations, Thompson was asked about her relationship with Whitehead. “He and I started talking over social media,” Thompson said in a part of the interview that became public record after Elliott and the NFL Players Association filed suit late Thursday. “We weren’t really dating. Ezekiel found out, and I blocked Lucky from my phone.” Roberts was then asked about Whitehead and Thompson during the appeal hearing because he came up during her interviews with Thompson.
Roberts: And what I remember her saying because I do kind of remember this specifically is she said that Ezekiel is upset because he found out that I was dating some guy. I said well, what guy. And she says a guy I met over social media. And then we go over what’s his name.
Q. So that’s what gets to Lucky Whitehead.
Q. That’s the guy she was talking about?
Q. Lucky Whitehead was a teammate of Mr. Ezekiel, correct?
Roberts: I’m not sure.
Q. You don’t know if he was a teammate of his?
Roberts: I don’t recall.
Q. You don’t know if he plays for the Dallas Cowboys or he played that year for the Dallas Cowboys?
Roberts: I’m not sure. Actually — yeah, no, I’m not sure.
Elliott was asked if Thompson affected his time with the Cowboys during his testimony under oath at the hearing.
Elliott: So, like I mentioned before, when Tiffany saw me doing well or just doing well without her, she did not like that and she would go through any measure to kind of ruin my moment or ruin what’s going on, and so particularly this moment was — after we had a big win verse the Steelers, and I had a very good game, and while I’m boarding the plane from Pittsburgh to Dallas, I received like 15 texts from an unknown number, and the texts were screen shots of text messages between Tiffany and one of my current teammates that play with me for the Cowboys. And then there was a picture of a hotel reservation which had her name and also his name on it. Basically, her telling me that she slept with one of my teammates the previous week while we were in Cleveland.
Q. How did that make you feel?
Elliott: Pissed off.
Q: And you felt that was another form of harassment?
When it comes to the accusations of domestic violence against Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott by his ex-girlfriend Tiffany Thompson that led to his six game suspension, we here at SportSmasher.com do not know what happened, but we are noticing a pattern. Ezekiel Elliott dated Tiffany Thompson at Ohio State University, and before he was selected fourth overall in the 2016 NFL Draft and became a millionaire, Ezekiel Elliott broke up with Thompson and kicked her to the curb. Shortly afterwards, Thompson accused Ezekiel Elliott of beating her, and posted photographic evidence on Instagram. We have also learned they Tiffany Thompson had discussions with a friend about blackmailing Ezekiel Elliott by threatening to release their sex tape publicly, unless Elliott paid her $20,000, although it is unclear if Thompson ever made these threats to Elliott. During Elliott’s suspension appeal hearing, it was revealed that when the Dallas Cowboys played the Cleveland Browns on November 6th, 2016 Tiffany Thompson had sex with Elliott’s Dallas Cowboys teammate Lucky Whitehead in the team hotel, then Thompson used the text messages between her and Whitehead as well as hotel receipts confirming the hookup to harass Elliott after the Cowboys played the Steelers on November 13th. Did Ezekiel Elliott physically abuse Tiffany Thompson as she alleges? We do not know, and we will probably never know, the only two people who really know what happened between them is Thompson and Elliott. However it is clear that Tiffany Thompson thought she had landed a multimillionaire and she was looking forward to living the luxury lifestyle of an NFL wife, and that since Ezekiel Elliott dumped her, she has taken every opportunity available to torment him and hurt his career. Tiffany Thompson considered blackmailing Elliott, she slept with one of his teammates for revenge then taunted Elliott with the evidence, so you cannot put making up false domestic violence accusations in order to hurt Elliott’s career past her.
