SportsIllustratedAlabama, Ole Miss and Mississippi State have offered scholarships to 6’4″, 286-pound eighth-grader Jaheim Oatis of Columbia, Miss., he announced on Twitter over the weekend. “REMEMBER THE NAME JAHEIM OATIS!!!!” he wrote in a tweet. Oatis once shared a video of himself running a 4.7 seconds for the 40-yard dash at the Ole Miss football facilities. Oatis also plays baseball and basketball.
Meet Jaheim Oatis, a 6’4 285 pound football recruit from Colombia, Mississippi, who has been clocked at 4.7 seconds in the 40-yard-dash. Jaheim Oatis has already received scholarship offers from Alabama, Ole Miss and Mississippi State, but he has not yet played a snap of college football. Why? Because Jaheim Oatis is just fourteen-years-old and in middle school, he is going into eighth grade, and he just happens to be a genetic freak. Jaheim Oatis also plays baseball (he has an 85 MPH fastball) and basketball, but with the genetic hand he has been dealt, expect big things from Jaheim Oatis on the football field in the future.
