NYPost Lawrence Patrick Sullivan — a 29-year-old model whose face is tattooed to resemble The Joker — was arrested Tuesday for waving a loaded Smith & Wesson handgun at drivers outside a West Kendall apartment complex, according to an arrest affidavit. The wannabe Batman villain was arrested after witnesses called police to report a person with green hair and facial tattoos menacing the vehicles with a gun. “I have a gun in my pocket,” Sullivan told officers when they patted him down just outside the Hammocks Place Apartments, according to the arrest affidavit. He then told cops he didn’t have a concealed weapons permit because it was too expensive. Sullivan was charged with one felony count of carrying a concealed firearm, according to the arrest affidavit, which lists “tattoo model” as his occupation. During a court appearance Wednesday, Sullivan told a judge he lives with his mother. His bail was set at $5,000, the Miami Herald reports.
This is not the first time that we have recently seen The Joker in trouble with the law, in March a man dressed as The Joker was arrested for carrying a sword from n public, and now a Florida man who has facial tattoos to make himself look like The Joker was arrested for pointing a loaded gun at cars in Florida. If you spend money trying to make yourself look exactly like the most famous supervillain in history, you are probably up to no good, and I think that a Florida police officer should have dressed as Batman to make the arrest. At least the tattoos made Lawrence Patrick Sullivan easy to identify, when they saw the Bat Signal and were told they were after The Joker, they knew exactly who they should pursue.
