ESPN Massachusetts State Police have apprehended and charged the man who pulled a fire alarm in the Pittsburgh Steelers’ hotel early Sunday morning. The Steelers will play the New England Patriots on Sunday night (6:40 ET) in the AFC Championship Game at Gillette Stadium. Dennis Harrison, 25, of East Boston, has been charged with disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace and pulling a false fire alarm at the Steelers’ airport hotel in Boston, according to a statement from state police. Police said Harrison pulled an alarm at the hotel and fled the scene, but he was found by the state police walking on hotel property. Police said Harrison was not a guest at the hotel, nor did he have a legitimate reason to be at the hotel. Harrison was being held, pending bail. On Sunday morning, fire alarms also went off at Gillette Stadium. The Foxboro fire department arrived, and a short time later people in the stadium, mostly media and stadium workers, were allowed to return. The hotel was also evacuated while firefighters checked the building. While many members of the Steelers were awakened by the alarm, the team was not evacuated. NFL security officials were staying at the same hotel and were on the scene during the incident.
Massholes are going to do Masshole things, and last night, a Masshole named Dennis Harrison pulled the fire alarm at the Pittsburgh Steelers hotel the night before the AFC Championship Game in an attempt to give his team an advantage. Dennis Harrison was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace and pulling a false fire alarm at the Steelers’ hotel, but if the Patriots bear the Steelers today and advance to the Super Bowl I’m sure he will take credit for the win. I can hear this Masshole now, “I knew Bill and Tommy needed me to beat da Steel-ahs, so I broke into the friggin’ hotel and pulled da fire alarm, now those assholes Big Ben and Le’Veon Bell are on zero sleep for da friggin title game. I wonda if Tommy will call me to thank me aftah da Pats friggin win? Think I’ll get to ride on a duck boat during da friggin parade?”
