If you had to vote for a Heisman Trophy winner right now, it would be hard not to vote for Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson, who has thirteen touchdowns through a game and a half. It’s currently halftime of their game against Syracuse, and he has four rushing touchdowns and one passing touchdowns, to add to the eight touchdowns he had last week in the season opener. Lamar Jackson now also has a signature play, as he hurdled a Syracuse defender and stayed on his feet, before running into the end zone for a touchdown. Lamar Jackson is one of college football’s breakout stars, and if he keeps up this pace, a Heisman could be in his future.
