SmokingGun An Iowa man threatened to “shoot up” a Domino’s restaurant in retaliation for workers botching his pizza order, police allege. Dusten Kemp, 30, is locked up on $8500 bond following his arrest last night on harassment and assault charges. According to cops, Kemp placed a delivery order Tuesday evening and subsequently complained that what he received “was wrong.” When Kemp phoned in an order late last night, workers agreed to send him two free pizzas as a make-good. When a Domino’s employee arrived at Kemp’s home in Coralville, an Iowa City suburb, he was “drunk and took his clothes off.” Kemp, seen above, grabbed the worker’s arm and “made several threats about them messing up his order,” according to a court filing. Kemp, police charge, then warned that he was going to “come down to Domino’s” and “shoot up the place with a .45.” During police questioning Kemp denied making threats against Domino’s, though he admitted that a delivery driver had been at his residence.
Domino’s pizza got a drunken Iowa man named Dusten Kemp’s order wrong, but they were nice enough to apologize, and give him two free pizzas as retribution. That was not good enough for Dusten Kemp, when the delivery man arrived with his two free pizzas, Kemp stripped naked and threatened to shoot up Domino’s with his .45. It’s never a good idea to threaten to shoot up a public place, and this is an especially bad week to make those threats, but if I had one question for Dusten Kemp it would be – Why did you have to strip naked in order to threaten the pizza guy?
P.S. I’ve drunkenly ordered pizzas many times in the past, and the pizza has showed up wrong, do you know what I did? Shrugged my shoulders, and drunkenly enjoyed the pizza, because I was drunk and felt like eating pizza. Unless your pizza is covered in anchovies or something gross, if you are shitfaced, do you really care about getting meatball when you ordered pepperoni?
