The Jets manhandled the lowly Dolphins yesterday. At one point in the game Ryan Tannehill threw a pass to Richard Matthews and Calvin Pryor rocked a good clean hit to jar the ball loss. Pryor then celebrated, like any defensive player would, but Matthews ended up being injured.
During Tannehill’s post game conference, he agreed that the hit was clean but also added that it was “classless” of Pryor to celebrate while a player was down. If you watched the game, Pryor obviously wasn’t celebrated at Matthew’s expense and likely didn’t even know he was hurt. Calvin Pryor then took to Twitter to respond to the Dolphin’s QB.
Throw a better ball next time @ryantannehill1 teammate would’ve never got injured!!! Sorry if you felt I was classless at the moment.

And Pryor is 100% right. Tannehill threw a duck and put his WR in a bad spot. It’s also not a good idea to start a feud with one of the hardest hitting safeties in your division – your WRs will have to deal with that now for the next 10 years (or 2 until the Dolphins release him).
