ESPN: St. Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford is out for the 2014 season after an MRI disclosed he tore the ACL in his left knee in Saturday night’s preseason game against the Browns, according to multiple sources.
It is the same injury that sidelined Bradford in the middle of last season.
This is becoming a scary trend for Bradford. It’s the same knee as last season as well. You gotta feel bad for the kid though… the Rams are an improving and young team and reports out of camp have been positive. This was a make or break year for Bradford.
I’ve begun to hear rumors of the Rams trading for a new QB. Mark Sanchez reuniting with Brian Schottenheimer rumors have been circulating on twitter. I don’t see this happening. Nor do I see the Rams trading for any QB. They signed Shaun Hill to backup Bradford. Hill is a vet with 26 starts under his belt and was more than serviceable in Detroit.
I don’t think this changes the fantasy impact of any offensive players.
