Sheldon Richardson won the 2013 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year. Richardson finished the season with 77 tackles and 3.5 sacks. Everyone who watched him play knew his stat line wouldn’t do justice to what Richardson was able to do on the field. He was a bright spot for the Jets in 2013 and Idzik’s first hit on draft day.
Now a trip down memory lane from draft day 2013…
Biggest steal: Tavon to Rams at 8. Worst picks: E.J.Manuel 16 to Bills, Dion Jordan 3 to Dolphins, Sheldon Richardson 13 to Jets.

“The Sheldon Richardson pick is a real head-scratcher. It’s a complete non-scheme fit & Jets have so many other needs” – @McShay13 #NYJPick
