In a game on December 28th when the Miami Heat took on the Portland Trail Blazers, Heat guard Dwayne Wade got away with what might have been the most blatant traveling violation in NBA history, and after re-watching the clip it is shocking that the referees kept their whistles in their pockets. Wade catches the ball, ends up basically walking to mid-court, then back to the three point line to initiate the offense without ever taking a dribble. That is when he remembers that he is playing basketball and needs to dribble. A fan with a good sense of humor put together the clip with LeBron James’ “Not one…not two” speech and it almost syncs up perfectly with Wade’s horrible travel.
Wade plays for the defending NBA Champions, I don’t think the shooting guard for the Bucks or Jazz gets away with neglecting to dribble.
The Heat were at home in this clip, maybe there was a fake-breasted Miami blonde sitting court side, and the referees were distracted.
