Fred McGriff is one of my favorite baseball players of all-time, McGriff had a legendary nickname “Crime Dog” and blasted 493 home runs over the course of an eighteen year career with six major league teams. I always rooted for McGriff to hit 500 home runs, and wish he hung on for another season as a pinch hitter to reach that goal, I think Crime Dog should be in the Hall of Fame.
What is McGriff up to these days? He is a front office advisor for the Tampa Bay Rays, and according to Busted Coverage he is playing first base on a kickball team with a cute Florida news anchor.
It was while celebrating after one of these kickball games that this photo was taken, McGriff seems to be either intentionally or unintentionally copping a feel on WFTS-TV anchor Ashley Glass and we here at SportSmasher.com hope that Glass is flattered. Crime Dog is the man, and it is awesome that he played on this kickball team, and Glass tweeted these pictures so she must be cool with McGriff and knows that Crime Dog committed no crime. Plus, she looks to be grinding back on Crime Dog too, her hand placement on McGriff did not go unnoticed.
