Ronnie Lott is a Hall of Fame safety, who was one of the most feared hitters in the history of the NFL, but he is a little clumsy while sitting in chairs on national television. The 49ers legend fell was giving his “shout out” to UCLA quarterback Brett Hundley on the PAC-12 network wrap up show, when his chair fell off of the stage, spilling Lott to the floor. Lott was uninjured, and the rest of the analysts exploded into laughter, as he tried to recover and finish the segment like nothing ever happened. Ronnie Lott, the most feared safety of all-time, and a klutz.
Lott is still the toughest dude of all-time though, he broke a finger mid-game, and cut the finger off so he wouldn’t miss any snaps. Imagine someone doing that in today’s NFL, where if a guy has an ingrown toenail he is out for six weeks. Lott would cut off the whole damn toe and have 15 tackles and two interceptions the following week.
