I’m just now reading the outcry against Discovery Channel’s Shark Week opening “documentary” on the search for Megalodon. Megaldon is a giant ass prehistoric shark that has been extinct for years. It doesn’t exist. If it did, we would know.
I watched the show. It was clearly not a real “breaking news” type story. It was exactly like Animal Planet’s Mermaid show. Which was also clearly an entertainment piece and not a real documentary. I was glued to both. B/C I like being entertained. I am shocked at how stupid people are to have been fooled for two hours into thinking this was a real show. And this is coming from a guy who loves this kind of shit. I wish BigFoot, the Lochness Monster, Megalodon, and Mermaids were all real. The world would be cooler if they were.
My favorite part of this outcry is how people are actually insulted that they were gullible enough to believe this was all real and are somehow placing blame on Discovery Channel that their 4 disclaimers were not noticeable enough. Relax America. Enjoy the followup to the show. Its entertainment. You want facts? Search SportSmasher for Fucking Florida tag and dig in to reality.
