Not a good look Luke Petitgout, beating your wife with her own purse on your wedding anniversary then pushing her out of the car in the middle of NYC looks bad no matter what your side of the story is. Notre Dame is one of the most disciplined teams in college football and the New York Giants are one of the most disciplined teams in the NFL, and it’s rare that you see a player associated with either program being arrested for charges this serious. Putting your hands on your wife is always a horrible idea, but Luke Petitgout is 6’6 and 310lbs, so domestic abuse looks a lot worse coming from a huge former NFL offensive lineman. He’s innocent until proven guilty, but this looks bad for the former first round pick.
