USAToday Darnell Dockett has a baby tiger named Little Buddy and he wants to bring it to training camp. A handsome fella, indeed. The Arizona Cardinals defensive tackle told Fox Sports 910 that he’s not sure if he’ll be allowed to, but he’s going to find out. Good idea to get permission first. In the interview, Dockett said Little Buddy, who weighs about 60 pounds, is “very chill and very playful.” Wanting to add to his exotic pet collection, Dockett told the radio station that he recently offered to pay $30,000 for a monkey, but it was not for sale. “The dude would not sell it,” Dockett said. “I offered him a price that the only other person who would offer him that much is probably Michael Jackson, rest in peace, but he wouldn’t even entertain my offer when it came to the monkey.”
We’ll certainly keep an eye on Dockett’s Twitter and Instagram to see if the Cardinals let him bring Little Buddy to a show and tell.
I love Darnell Dockett. His antics on Twitter are amazing, but buying a pet tiger named “Little Buddy” and bringing it to training camp is just awesome. I also love the fact that he made an offer for that monkey. The Arizona Cardinals defensive lineman has become one of the most entertaining players in the NFL, and buying a pet tiger is a total Mike Tyson style power move, I hope when it reaches adulthood Dockett has the tiger chasing down live gazelles at the practice facility. The security guards are already not thrilled with this development:
