Just so we are clear, Andy Reid was allowing players to eat tacos on Tuesdays and fast food on Fridays at the Eagles facility. So remember when Terrell Owens called Donovan McNabb fat and out of shape after the Eagles 2004 Super Bowl loss to the New England Patriots? Maybe it’s because McNabb was scarfing down Taco Bell every Tuesday and Burger King every Friday. Changing the lazy culture and removing fast food and tacos from the menus was a no-brainer for new head coach Chip Kelly when he took the reigns in Philly.
Now Andy Reid is the head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs, and we can only assume that his fat ass had already implemented Bar-B-Que Mondays and Whipped Cream Wednesdays at Arrowhead. Kansas City is the BBQ capital of the world, Reid has probably already filled the ice baths in the training room with pulled pork and the weight room is now a fully operational slaughterhouse. When Alex Smith is 300lbs by the Chiefs Bye week, Andy Reid will be to blame, just because Reid is eating crap and disgustingly overweight does not mean his team of professional athletes should be following his lead.
Just ask fat Donovan McNabb:
