In Uriah Hall’s first fight on The Ultimate Fighter, he knocked out Adam Cella with one of the most devastating kicks we have ever seen, and in his second fight he dished out an equally devastating knockout. With a trip to the semifinals on the line, Hall took on Bubba McDaniel, who trains out of Greg Jackson’s camp with UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones. The bell sounds and Uriah Hall hits McDaniel with a knee to the body, then throws a quick and powerful straight right that connects directly with McDaniel’s eye. McDaniel hits the ground and Hall leaps on top of him and finishes the fight, the whole bout lasts a total of eight seconds and Uriah Hall wins again. When we see a closeup of McDaniel’s eye, it is already bleeding, swollen shut and looks to be caved in. It looks like his orbital socket was shattered. UFC President Dana White is blown away with Hall’s knockout power and explosiveness, telling Carlos Condit “This guy doen’t just knock people out, he KNOCKS PEOPLE OUT!” at cage-side. Hall’s coach Chael Sonnen enters the octagon and tells Hall “I spent six years in that division (middleweight) and you are a contender.” Later in the episode, Dana White proclaims that Hall is the most dangerous man in the history of The Ultimate Fighter. I tend to agree, we have never seen a fighter this explosive on the show, and Hall will be ready to face top contenders out of the gate. He is that good. Amazing explosive power, excellent striking from all angles with his hands and feet, knows his cage psychology. Uriah Hall is the real deal.
