The Toronto Raptors crushed the Los Angeles Clippers last night 98-73, and as the clock was about to expire Raptors rookie center Jonas Valanciunas was holding the ball, as the Clippers Caron Butler approached for a congratulatory high five. As Valanciunas let his guard down for a moment, thinking that the game was over, Butler swiped the ball and raced down the court for a meaningless layup. The game ended and the Clippers lost by 25 points instead of 27 points, great work Caron, you really taught the rookie a lesson. You can bet that Jonas Valanciunas will never let his guard down again, and although I think it was a dick move by Butler, I kind of respect it. Teaching the rookie that in the NBA we play until that clock reads three zeros, and you can never let your guard down, it’s not over until it’s over. Play to the whistle, rook!

Caron Butler is a classless thug.
