The surprisingly hot Colts travel into Jacksonville to take on the struggling Jaguars. Let’s get right into the player prop bets we like for this week’s Thursday Night Football matchup!
Andrew Luck OVER 23.5 Completions: Luck has been red hot and throws the ball as much as anyone in the NFL. With the Jaguars defense struggling this season, I think Luck has another big day… just like last week against Miami. I like his total yards OVER as well this week.
Vick Ballard OVER 79.5 Total Yards (Rushing & Receiving): I love this one actually. I’m assuming Donald Brown will be out this week and Ballard has been half impressive this season. He has caught at least 1 pass in every game he’s played this season and had 3 last week. I think he has somewhere between 3-5 catches for 30+ yards and over 50 on the ground.
Reggie Wayne to Score a TD: At +110, I think Wayne has as good a chance as anyone in this game to get in the endzone.
Blaine Gabbert OVER 20 Completions: The Colts will be without both starting cornerbacks in this game, which should give Gabbert a little more room to find his WRs. I don’t love this one, but the writing is on the wall for the Jags to be playing from behind and Gabbert will need to throw.
Justin Blackmon OVER 37.5 Receiving Yards: As mentioned above, the Colts are without both their starting CBs. I think Blackmon should show some signs of life here and think he passing 50 yards.
As you can tell, I’m expecting some yards and scoring tonight. Good luck out there!
