After a crappy Thursday Night last week, we came back real strong on Sunday with suggested player prop bets. This Thursday, Tampa Bay travels to Minnesota to take on the Vikings. Both have solid run defenses and both offenses have players coming off really nice games in Josh Freeman and Adrian Peterson. Below are our suggested prop bets for Thursday Night.
Josh Freeman UNDER 10.5 Rushing Yards: Freeman has surprisingly only surpassed double digit yards on the ground twice this year. Both times it came against terrible run defenses in Carolina and New Orleans. Coming off a monster game last week, I expect Freeman to come back to earth a bit and the Vikings defense to keep his rushes in check.
Percy Harvin to score a TD: At +110, I like Harvin’s odds to score every week. He is arguably the MVP of the season so far and has as good a chance to get in the end zone this week given all the different ways that Minnesota tries to get him the ball.
Adrian Peterson OVER 90.5 Rushing Yards: “All Day” is back… he showed burst and quickness last week that is unreal considering how quick of an ACL recovery he had. I see him going over 100 yards again this week on the ground. I think the Vikings were smart to rest him at practice on the short week.
