Florida Today A 51-year-old Palm Bay woman who police said called 9-1-1 to thank Sheriff Jack Parker for the bologna sandwiches provided at the jail, faces charges she called repeatedly called emergency lines. Christine Lee Brown was charged with six felony counts of misuse of 9-1-1 communications after dispatchers alerted police to half a dozen calls placed Saturday. She remained held on a $3,000 bond at the Brevard County Jail Complex overseen by the sheriff’s office.Palm Bay police responded to Brown’s home on the 2500 block of Chatham Way where she met them at a window while talking on the phone to a 9-1-1 operator, reports show. The officer could be heard knocking on the door as Brown chatted on the phone, reports show. Dispatchers repeatedly asked the woman if she had an emergency with each call but Brown instead talked about having a bologna sandwich in the 1,600-inmate facility, reports show. No court date has been set.
Bologna has to be the worst of the deli meats, it is flat out disgusting, and has to sit alone at the bottom of the deli meat power rankings. Just slimy with gross texture, its basically cold pickled sausage, and I don’t think I’ve consumed it since I was 6 years ole. Give me a straight up peanut butter and jelly over bologna in lockup every single time, in fact I would throw the bologna sandwich back in the sheriff’s face, or trade it for a shiv.
Fucking Florida, where the people have no idea what 9-1-1 is used for, this is not the first time I’ve blogged about Floridians misusing 9-1-1 for more stories like this click the tag on this page.
