KLTV An East Texas chemistry teacher was arrested for selling meth at a junior high school parking lot. William Duncan, 43, of Linden is charged with manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance. Police say after several tips, they went undercover and bought meth from Duncan in the Linden-Kildare Junior High parking lot around 8:30 a.m. Monday. The school district has placed Duncan on administrative release for now.”We’ve been conducting an undercover operation for about five months and buying narcotics and we had bought off of this person a few weeks back,” said Linden Police Chief Alton McWaters. “We set-up another buy from him. He sold it to us at the school, at the junior high school where he teaches.” Police arrested Duncan Tuesday on his lunch break at school. During the arrest, McWaters says they discovered Duncan had meth in his truck on school property.
Amazingly, William Duncan is not the first time in recent memory that we have seen a real life criminal arrested while imitating the acts of Walter White on “Breaking Bad” in fact, we recently saw a man NAMED Walter White get arrested for cooking meth in Alabama:
If we could combine these stories and a chemistry teacher named Walter White was busted for selling meth this would be a truly crazy story. You have to wonder if William Duncan was inspired to start cooking and selling meth by Bryan Cranston’s character on the hit show.
There is a reason TV is TV though, I’m pumped for “Sons of Anarchy” tonight, but you won’t see me buying a Harley and joining a biker gang. Although, it would make one hell of a blog, on second thought let’s not close that door just yet.
