New York Jets Head Coach Rex Ryan has dropped 106 lbs. and shockingly, he won’t shut up about it. The NFL’s big fat drama queen is slightly less fat, as he went from 348 lbs to 242 lbs. in the two years since he had lap band surgery.
What a surprise. NFL teams report within the next week and Rex Ryan dropped 106 pounds so he can still fit in the quickly closing spotlight around his New York Jets. The brash Jets and their skinny-fat head coach constantly call themselves the league’s best team, acquire cast off players from other franchises, and claim that they run New York City.
Predictably, the sideshow Jets then struggle, like last year when they lost to the New York Giants outright, then missed the playoffs. The Giants are the anthesis of the Jets, they again acted professionally, worked hard and won the Super Bowl.
The Jets, not to be outdone, brought in quarterback and religious icon Tim Tebow to be the “backup” to incumbent starter Mark Sanchez, and are starting the 2012 season with one of the biggest and most talked about quarterback controversies in NFL history. The Jets always win the offseason and the back cover of the New York Post while the Giants win when it matters. LINK To My Post About The Tebow Trade.
Be prepared for countless insufferable “before & after” pictures of Rex on every pre-game and post-game show that you watch this season. You know he is going to write an inspirational weight loss book too. There will be plenty of interviews, asking:
“Rexy, you look amazing! How did you do it?”
I hope he answers honestly.
“I got a rubber strap surgically tied around my stomach, effectively cutting the storage capacity of the organ in half, so I literally cannot cram any more food down my fat throat, or I’ll explode. I have no self control and refuse to workout, but luckily I get paid millions of dollars per year, so I can afford this unnecessary cosmetic surgery.”
Inspirational, you slovenly skinny-fat loudmouth.
